In this session you will learn how to:

• create a conscious culture at staff, board and stakeholder level

1.00-3.00 pm – Strategic decision making: creating the culture of strategic awareness
Strategy without awareness is all too common and results in resources seeping away from what matters most. What are the keys to creating a culture of strategic awareness? How can board members and executives function from curiosity and possibility, develop skills in financial and risk analysis, and generate strategic futures that create true and meaningful impact effectively and efficiently?

In this session you will learn to:

• foster personal attributes which create strategic awareness
• develop these attributes in yourself and others
• structure the board and senior executive meetings to facilitate strategic awareness
• understand the dynamics of community relationship and strategic awareness
• harness your relationships with the community to generate prosperity

3.15 – 4.45 pm – Money: creating diverse revenue streams with impact and sustainability
What if revenue streams were not where you thought they were? What if you no longer had to rely on one or two sources of funding? The way you view your organisation dictates what your options are and whether you are able to create the revenue streams you need. There are commercial possibilities in so many more of the things you do. Explore how you can create new services and products to sustain your organization, to drive your vision, and to help you truly make a difference.

In this session you will learn how to:

• 'see money' and its influence on how you create revenue
• incorporate a prosperity (versus scarcity) view into decision making and revenue generation
• develop vision-driven leadership to create new revenue streams
• utilize the changing nature of strategic alliances to achieve your targets
• leverage commercial practices to generate impact

• deal with surplus or retained earnings to ensure long-term sustainability
